Hi, I’m Matt.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State. I obtained my master’s degree in Individual and Family Therapy from George Fox University, in Newberg, Oregon in 2006. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, in-home therapy, and private practice.

My areas of expertise include the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, religious trauma, grief and loss, stress management, internal family systems work, life transitions and personal growth. I provide an LGBTQIA+ friendly environment for therapeutic treatment. In addition to my therapeutic practice, I also provide ADHD Assessments for adults.

Drawing from a combination of influences from Experiential Therapy, Depth Psychology, Narrative Psychology, Applied Mythology as well as a genuine love of story-telling in general, I have worked both individually and in small groups utilizing creative storytelling as a method to help people get more curious about their own lives, their own shadow personalities, and to begin to learn how to utilize more conscious and intentional storytelling as a means to find healing and inner reconciliation, providing a meaningful tool for personal growth.
