Are You Wondering If ADHD May Be Affecting Your Life?
Do you have difficulty staying focused, getting started on tasks, or following through—even when you genuinely want to?
Maybe you struggle with organization, time management, remembering appointments, managing responsibilities, or keeping track of everyday details. You may procrastinate, become easily distracted, or feel overwhelmed by tasks that seem simple for everyone else.
Perhaps your mind feels constantly busy, making it difficult to slow down, prioritize, or finish what you've started.
You may have been called lazy, careless, forgetful, or unmotivated. Over time, these experiences can affect your confidence and how you see yourself.
Or maybe you've wondered whether ADHD could explain challenges you've experienced for years.
Understanding What's Behind Your Struggles Can Be An Important First Step Toward Finding Strategies That Work For You.

ADHD Can Affect More Than Attention
ADHD can affect more than your ability to pay attention. It may impact executive functioning, organization, time management, motivation, impulse control, emotional regulation, relationships, work, and everyday responsibilities.
ADHD looks different for everyone. You may be able to focus intensely on something that interests you while struggling to start or complete tasks that feel repetitive or overwhelming. You may know exactly what needs to be done but still have difficulty getting started.
You may struggle with procrastination, remembering details, managing distractions, shifting between tasks, or keeping track of responsibilities.
These challenges can lead you to wonder, “Why is this so hard for me?” or “Why can't I get started when I know what I need to do?”
Struggling with these challenges doesn't mean you're lazy, careless, or incapable.
Understanding how you function can help you identify strategies and support that work with your strengths.
Comprehensive ADHD Testing for Adults
At Redmond Therapy Group, we provide comprehensive, evidence-informed ADHD assessments, ADHD evaluations, and ADHD testing exclusively for adults.
Our process is grounded in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) and considers your history, current challenges, strengths, and goals.
A Three-Appointment Evaluation Process
Each adult ADHD assessment includes three in-person appointments with your clinician, along with several assessments completed outside of your appointments.
The first appointment focuses on gathering your history and understanding your current concerns. Your clinician will complete a detailed clinical interview for ADHD and gather information about your developmental, educational, work, personal, and mental health history.
Between appointments, you will complete several questionnaires and assessments. These may include cognitive testing for ADHD or other standardized measures that provide information about attention, executive functioning, and daily functioning.
Your clinician will also contact two collateral contacts who know you well, such as a parent, sibling, spouse, or another appropriate person. Their input can provide additional information about your experiences across different settings and stages of life.
The second appointment takes place after your clinician has reviewed your completed assessments and contacted your collateral contacts. This appointment allows your clinician to clarify information, ask follow-up questions, and develop a more complete understanding of your experiences.
The third appointment focuses on your results. Your clinician will review the findings with you, explain what they mean, discuss whether the findings support an ADHD diagnosis, and provide individualized recommendations.
Following your adult ADHD evaluation, you will receive a full written report of your results, including relevant findings, diagnostic conclusions when appropriate, and recommendations.
We Look at the Whole Picture
An ADHD test for adults involves more than completing one questionnaire or taking a single test. Our ADHD evaluations use multiple sources of information to better understand patterns of attention, executive functioning, and other concerns.
Depending on your individual needs, the process may include questionnaires, rating scales, standardized measures, cognitive assessment ADHD, and other forms of cognitive testing for ADHD.
When appropriate, neuropsychological testing for ADHD may provide additional information about areas such as attention, working memory, processing speed, and executive functioning.
We Provide Recommendations and Ongoing Support
At your final appointment, we'll discuss practical recommendations, resources, strategies, and, when appropriate, potential accommodations for work, school, or daily life.
Support doesn't have to end when your evaluation is complete. We provide ongoing support through therapy with a clinician in-house. If you choose to continue therapy, you can work with a clinician in our practice on organization, time management, procrastination, emotional regulation, communication, confidence, routines, and other ADHD-related challenges.
The goal isn't to change who you are. It's to help you better understand how you function and develop strategies that work for you.
Why Redmond Therapy Group?
Seeking an adult ADHD evaluation can bring hope, uncertainty, and many questions. At Redmond Therapy Group, we take the time to understand the whole picture—not just a list of symptoms. Our approach is thorough, individualized, and focused on helping you understand how ADHD may be affecting your life.
We also recognize that an evaluation is only one part of the process. If you choose to continue therapy after your assessment, you can receive ongoing support from a clinician in-house. This allows you to build on what you learn during your evaluation and work on practical strategies for managing ADHD-related challenges.
Our assessments are $2,600. We are an out-of-network provider and provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance carrier to confirm your out-of-network benefits, deductible, reimbursement rates, and coverage for ADHD assessment services.
We accept cash, check, and credit card payments.
Our goal is to provide more than an evaluation. We want you to leave with a clearer understanding of yourself, practical recommendations, and support for what comes next.
